Despite its success, the apprenticeship for dental assistance has not been integrated into the formal system, partly due to the existence of the healthcare profession of Dental Assistants and the interests of the Dental Chamber. The goal was to highlight the existence and benefits of the apprenticeship program.
We developed an animated video that emphasized the advantages of the training program and translated it into four languages to reach a broad audience. The video targeted both young people and dentists, while also appealing to the Ministry to formally recognize and integrate the apprenticeship into the formal system.
The video reached over 100,000 young people in Austria, significantly increasing awareness of the dental assistance apprenticeship. This broad outreach helped support the goal of official recognition and integration into the formal system.
